hey,
this post is for Ubuntu Lovers to get back Ubuntu after Windows installation using Boot-repair tool.
After installing Windows OS, GRUB will be replaced by Windows Bootloader.
Follow Steps to get back your Ubuntu as it was before installing Windows.
1) If you have Live Ubuntu Disk then Insert it and restart your computer.
or Make Bootable Pendrive using Universal usb installer.
Now restart Computer and choose TRY UBUNTU WITHOUT INSTALLATION
2) Now if You have Internet Connection while Live USB then Go to step 3)
or manually download Latest Tar Package from here.
Now install this tar package in Live-USB.
If you are not able to install this tar package then follow step 3 otherwise skip it.
3) Now open Terminal (CTRL + ALT +T)
and Type following commands
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yannubuntu/boot-repair && sudo apt-get update
After this command it will add repository of boot-repair
and then install it by this command
sudo apt-get install -y boot-repair && boot-repair
Now You will see
